About · Governance
How we stay non-partisan, open, and accountable.
Sa7a is built to be a movement, not a fiefdom.
Structure
Sa7a operates as a non-profit civic foundation. Decisions are made by:
- A board that holds fiduciary and strategic responsibility.
- Working group leads who direct the six policy pillars.
- Pillar directors for each of the four operational pillars.
- Citizen advisory inputs via Pulse and the Talk roundtables.
Non-partisanship rules
No Sa7a officer, employee, or working group lead may simultaneously hold a political party position or run as a candidate while serving Sa7a. Public endorsements of candidates or parties are forbidden. Policy positions may be advocated; political tribes may not.
Decision-making
Major positions and white papers are reviewed by the relevant working group, the pillar director, and the board's policy committee before publication. Disagreements are documented, not hidden.
Conflicts of interest
All officers and working group leads disclose financial interests, organizational affiliations, and any potential conflicts. Disclosures are public on this page.
